Chatsworth 3, Cleveland 2--Ryan Barba hit a solo home run with one out in the seventh to lift the Chancellors in a West Valley League game at Cleveland.

Joe Guntz (9-0) pitched a five-hitter, struck out six and walked four for Chatsworth (24-1, 10-1).

The Chancellors stranded 15 runners.

Chaminade 9, St. Francis 1--Bobby Paschal (9-0) pitched a three-hitter and struck out five as the Eagles clinched their second Mission League title in five years at Brookside Park in Pasadena.

Eric Johnson was four for four with two runs batted in and scored four times for Chaminade (19-3, 10-0).

Birmingham 11, El Camino Real 9--The Patriots rallied from an 8-0 deficit to pull out a West Valley League victory at El Camino Real.

Jose Carrillo hit a three-run home run and Lucio Tapia followed with a solo home run in the sixth inning to tie the score, 9-9.

El Camino Real (11-11, 4-7) committed its sixth error of the game--a throwing error by catcher Carlos Gallo on a simple throw back to the mound between pitches--to allow the go-ahead run to score.

Carrillo finished with six runs batted in.

Jason Kort hit two home runs and Chad Boyd had three hits for El Camino Real (18-8, 7-4).

Crescenta Valley 2, Glendale 0--Meredith Cervenka pitched a three-hitter and struck out 14 for the Falcons (22-1, 7-0), ranked No. 2 in the region by The Times, in a Pacific League game at Glendale (9-13, 3-4).

Valencia 1, Burroughs 0--Jaisa Creps scored from third base with none out in the 13th on an error in a Foothill League game at Valencia.

Tori Rocco (14-2) pitched a five-hitter and struck out nine for the top-ranked Vikings (20-2, 7-0).
