Quartz Hill 5, Palmdale 0--Kellie Cox improved to 10-2 and went two for four to help the visiting Rebels set up a showdown for the Golden League title against Highland.
Cox pitched a two-hitter with 11 strikeouts to avenge her only loss in league play. Palmdale beat Quartz Hill, 4-3, in the first round of competition.
The Rebels (12-9, 7-1 in league play) took a 2-0 lead in the fourth inning on run-scoring singles by Jennifer Curtier and Amanda Ricker. Cassie Corless was two for four with two runs batted in.
Quartz Hill will host Highland (7-1 in league play) on Tuesday. Highland defeated Lancaster, 2-0, Thursday.
