Right again. The latter beat Bob to that milestone by a couple of weeks, and he’ll celebrate with two parties-cum-concerts at the El Rey scheduled to include two other founding members of the Animals, drummer John Steel and guitarist Hilton Valentine, along with the Doors’ Robby Krieger, Nancy Sinatra, Spencer Davis and other Burdon friends and collaborators.
