Driver, 36, Dies After Hitting Tree

A Fullerton man died early Sunday after crashing his car while driving on the wrong side of the road, police said.
Ollie Darling, 36, died about 5 a.m. Sunday when his car skidded off Orangethorpe Avenue near Harbor Boulevard and hit a tree, according to Sgt. Neal Baldwin of the Fullerton Police Department. Darling had been driving east in the westbound lane, Baldwin said.
Baldwin said police believe alcohol may have been involved.
