Red Cross to Host Disaster Workshops
The Orange County chapter of the American Red Cross will host its 17th annual Disaster Preparedness Academy on May 30.
The event will feature 25 workshops for schools, colleges, businesses, government, the community and health professionals.
One session will address ways to detect and prevent violence.
The workshops teach workplace violence prevention, anger management, conflict resolution, personal safety and self-defense.
The event will be from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Titan Student Union Conference Center at Cal State Fullerton, 800 N. State College Blvd.
