Riverside Arlington 35, Moreno Valley 20--D.J. Arellano caught a 34-yard touchdown pass from Ryan Rising with 4:04 to play to seal the Ivy League victory for Arlington (8-1, 3-1) over Moreno Valley (1-8, 1-3) at Ramona High.

Arlington will play J.W. North (6-3, 3-1), a 14-7 winner over Valley View, for the league title next week.

Covina Charter Oak 28, Pomona Garey 3--Keith Harris rushed for 157 yards and scored on runs of three, 26, five and six yards for Charter Oak (7-2, 4-0), which clinched at least a share of the league title with the victory.

In boys’ water polo:

El Segundo 14, Redondo 3--Pat Volosin had five goals in the Bay League victory for El Segundo (22-6, 5-1), which set a school record for victories in a season and took second place in the Bay League behind Manhattan Beach Mira Costa.

In girls’ volleyball:

Ventura d. Santa Barbara, 15-8, 15-4, 15-7--Elena DeAlba had 10 kills and Sammy Gilden had nine for the Cougars (20-0, 8-0), who clinched their first Channel League championship.

Anaheim Esperanza d. Los Alamitos, 15-13, 13-15, 15-5, 15-9--Jenny Brickner had 14 kills for host Esperanza (18-3, 9-1), which captured the Sunset League title. Los Alamitos finished second in league at 8-2.

In girls’ tennis:

Westlake 13, Simi Valley 5--Amy Corwin swept at No. 1 singles and Westlake (14-5, 12-0) clinched the Marmonte League title at Simi Valley (17-2, 10-2).
