Update--This will be the first matchup of 20-game winners in the seventh game of the World Series since St. Louis’ John Tudor and Kansas City’s Bret Saberhagen squared off in 1985, a game the Royals won, 11-0. Schilling will become the first pitcher to start three games in a World Series since Minnesota’s Jack Morris in 1991. Clemens is 3-0 with a 1.59 earned-run average in five World Series starts, including a seven-inning, one-run, three-hit effort in Game 3 against Arizona.
