Tracy McGrady knows how to break out of a scoring slump--keep shooting.

McGrady had 44 points--more than double his season average and five short of his career-high--as the Orlando Magic defeated the Sacramento Kings, 115-105, Friday night at Orlando, Fla.

McGrady, who entered the game averaging 20.8 points, scored 15 in the fourth quarter. He shot 14 for 30 from the field and 15 for 20 from the free-throw line.

“It was going to come sooner or later,” said McGrady, who also had 13 rebounds and six assists. “I wasn’t worried about it [the slump]. I’ve got confidence in my game. I was due.”
