Holiday Closures

* Offices: On Thursday, all government offices, courts, banks, post offices, stock and commodity exchanges, libraries, schools and many businesses will be closed. On Friday, all city, court and state offices will be closed. The Ventura County Hall of Administration will be open. Many libraries and schools will also be closed.

* Transportation: On Thursday, Metrolink trains will not run, but service resumes Friday. SCAT buses will not operate Thursday, but will follow regular schedules on Friday.

* Trash: No trash pickup Thursday. Residents whose collection day falls on Thursday will have their trash collected Friday. Residents whose trash pickup falls on Friday will have their trash picked up Saturday.
