From Times Staff Writers
Anaheim Public Utilities will use $36,000 in grants to enhance local conservation efforts, officials said.
The American Public Power Assn. awarded the city the money to use in programs that encourage customers to conserve energy use during rolling blackouts, as well as compensate for the blackouts in other ways. The money will also go toward installing solar-powered lights and fountains at a city garden, city officials said.
