Several Injured in Dispute at Party
A melee that erupted at a party in Lynwood early Sunday left several people hospitalized with gunshot wounds and a man clinging to life after a beating.
The fight erupted about 12:15 a.m. in the 3600 block of Agnes Street after people crashed the party, Sheriff’s Deputy Faye Bugarin said.
“It was a family gathering, and a few uninvited guests were asked to leave,” she said. “Then a fight ensued.”
Bugarin said a man who crashed the party was assaulted and suffered “critical injuries.” Several other party-goers were treated for gunshot wounds at hospitals.
