Opportunities to Dine for New York, California-Style

Dine for N.Y.: More restaurants have joined forces with the Windows of Hope Family Relief Fund, which helps families of displaced or killed culinary workers of the World Trade Center. Today marks one month since the attacks, so today’s proceeds from meals at these restaurants will go to the fund. Some restaurants are donating all proceeds, others only a portion.

They are: In Pasadena, Maison Akira. In Beverly Hills, Chadwick and Matsuhisa. In West Hollywood, Lucques, Morton’s and Real Food Daily. In L.A., Restaurant Muse, Authentic Cafe and Sushi Kokyo. In Los Feliz, Capriccio on Vermont. In Hancock Park, Chan Dara. In West L.A., Bombay Cafe and Chan Dara. In Santa Monica, Real Food Daily, Sushi Roku and Il Grano. In Marina del Rey, Chan Darette. In South Coast Plaza, Maggiano’s Little Italy and Corner Bakery. In Newport Beach, Sage. In Woodland Hills, Maggiano’s Little Italy. In Calabasas, Corner Bakery.

Ongoing Opportunities to Dine for NY: La Serenata Gourmet on Pico Blvd. in West L.A. is donating half of its breakfast proceeds from 9 to 11 a.m. every Saturday and Sunday ....Melisse in Santa Monica is donating 5% of profits from all receipts through Oct. 31.... L’Orangerie on La Cienega Boulevard in L.A. is donating 10% of proceeds from its new $70 three-course “Discovery Menu.” The menu is available Sunday through Thursday nights until the end of the year ....Drago in Santa Monica, Celestino Italian Steakhouse in West Hollywood and Il Pastaio in Beverly Hills are donating proceeds from all desserts sold through today ....The Sunset Room and the Pig ‘n’ Whistle restaurants in Hollywood are donating 10% of lunch and dinner sales through Dec. 1 to the American Red Cross
