Indianapolis at Kansas City The line: Indianapolis by 3
Key injuries: IND--WR Jerome Pathon (foot, out); DE Chad Bratzke (ankle, questionable). KC--DT John Browning (knee, out), CB Ray Crockett (hand, out).
Key elements: The Colts have lost three in a row, and quarterback Peyton Manning has been uncharacteristically off target. Until Sunday, his first interception-free effort, he had been picked off at least twice a game. He catches a break against a Chief defense that can’t stop the pass or run. That should ease the mind of Colt running back Edgerrin James too, who has not scored since Week 2. Kansas City quarterback Trent Green needs to get more receivers involved in the offense; as tight end Tony Gonzalez goes, so go the Chiefs.
The pick: Colts. James has put together consecutive 100-yard games and should have a big night at Arrowhead.
