Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-5 Kills Woman
A woman was killed Friday when a big rig collided with her Honda, pinning it against the center divider on southbound Interstate 5, authorities said.
Several other vehicles were involved in the accident, which happened about noon north of El Toro Road in Laguna Hills, California Highway Patrol officials said.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was taken to Saddleback Memorial Medical Center with moderate injuries. Another motorist with critical injuries was taken to Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center, and three others were admitted there for treatment of minor injuries, authorities said.
