The Seattle Mariners finished up a 10-0 road trip as Ichiro Suzuki hit a three-run double and John Olerud had a two-run homer Wednesday night in a 7-4 victory over the Oakland Athletics.

The Mariners, who set an American League record with 59 road victories last season, won four games at Anaheim, four more at Texas and finished with a two-game sweep at the Coliseum.

Seattle became the seventh team to start a season with at least 10 consecutive road victories. Atlanta was the last club to do it in 1994.

Jamie Moyer (2-1) gave up three runs and six hits over five innings. Last season’s 20-game winner for Seattle hasn’t given up more than three runs in any of his first four starts.

Chicago 7, Cleveland 2--Mark Buehrle became the AL’s first four-game winner and Ray Durham matched a career-high with four RBIs as the White Sox won at Chicago.

Chicago has now won seven of eight games, and is off to its best start since 1994. Cleveland, which had its 10-game winning streak snapped Tuesday night, lost two in a row for the first time this year.

Boston 10, Toronto 3--Manny Ramirez homered and drove in four runs to lead the Red Sox to the victory over the Blue Jays at Toronto.

Ramirez was four for five and scored three runs as Boston’s designated hitter. In the two-game sweep at SkyDome, he had seven hits, including two homers, and seven RBIs.

New York 7, Baltimore 1--Jason Giambi hit his first home run at Yankee Stadium this season, helping the Yankees defeat the Orioles for a much-needed victory.

The Yankees had lost six of seven games since a seven-game winning streak.

Kansas City 16, Minnesota 3--Carlos Beltran broke open a close game with a three-run homer in the seventh inning and the Royals scored nine more times in the eighth in the rout at Minneapolis.

Beltran’s first homer of the season made it 7-3 and helped the Royals stop a three-game losing streak.

The Twins had won four in a row.

Detroit 7, Tampa Bay 6--Wendell Magee scored on a wild pitch in the bottom of the ninth inning at Detroit as the Tigers defeated the Devil Rays for their second consecutive victory after an 11-game losing streak to open the season.
