Driver Runs Red Light, Is Killed in Crash

A man died Thursday after his car was struck by a pickup truck at a Simi Valley intersection, authorities said.
Robert Miller Sr., 67, of Simi Valley was driving a Honda Del Sol west on East Los Angeles Avenue at 9:51 a.m. when he ran a red light at 1st Street and was hit by a northbound Ford pickup driven by Laurel Conrad, 51, of Simi Valley, police said.
Miller was taken to Simi Valley Hospital, where he died about 10:15 a.m., authorities said.
