Bruin Fan Sees No-Lose Situation

Share

It’s rare when an opportunity arises with a win-win outcome. Yet, that’s exactly the prospect for UCLA football this season.

The offense has Cory Paus and an experienced line back. The defense has plenty of players returning. Though the schedule is difficult, don’t be surprised if the Bruins are 4-1 and a top-20 team when Oregon comes to town.

If the season turns sour, UCLA finally will get the makeover it needs. Bob Toledo’s 17-18 record since losing to Miami is an embarrassment. His finger-pointing is infamous. Unfortunately for the coach, there is a new AD in town. Another mediocre season or 27-0 drubbing by USC probably will result in Toledo’s dismissal, an event that probably will put UCLA football back on the map.

If you are a UCLA fan, enjoy this season and the rare opportunity to come out ahead--win or lose.
