Mike Bibby will begin jogging this week for the first time since breaking his foot nearly two months ago, but the Sacramento Kings’ guard still is at least two weeks away from playing.

An X-ray of Bibby’s right foot taken Monday showed he has been healing on schedule since getting hurt during practice Oct. 11.

The news wasn’t so encouraging, however, for forward Peja Stojakovic, who has missed six games and could need surgery for inflamed tissue in his right heel, and backup center Scot Pollard, who shows no significant healing after a month of inactivity to the stress fracture in his back.
