BOB Baker’s observations about our local news stations are, unfortunately, spot on (“A 7 1/2-hour game of trivial pursuit,” Nov. 29). After traveling the country a great deal lately, I can only report the problem is pandemic. The country is flooded with reporters who’ve been taught to smile and (sometimes) enunciate, yet exhibit talent for little else. I often wonder if they’ve invested as much in their journalistic education as they did in getting their teeth capped. Where’s the actual story, you fool?
