A rifle was believed used in the shootings. The 17-year-old driver was hit in the neck and remained hospitalized late Saturday. The other victims were treated and released and a female passenger was unhurt.
Sheriff’s deputies are seeking a light-colored, four-door sedan from which the shots were fired.
The city of Cerritos has issued a $5,000 reward for the arrest and prosecution of the shooter. Anyone with information is asked to call (562) 860-0044.
