Fire Destroys 2-Story Business Complex

A fire early Wednesday destroyed an office building, causing an estimated $1.7-million loss.
More than a dozen businesses operated out of the two-story structure in the 3800 block of La Crescenta Avenue.
About 75 firefighters spent two hours extinguishing the blaze, reported shortly after midnight. The fire’s cause was under investigation. No injuries were reported.
