Playboy’s business
Oh, how the mighty have fallen! I could not be happier to see Hugh Hefner’s big lie being exposed (“Playboy’s New Digs: Not a Smoking Jacket in Sight,” by Mary McNamara, Dec. 17). Hefner’s entire empire was built on lies: that “real women” look like his bunnies, that what he was schlepping was “for gentlemen,” that guys like him, Bill Maher and Drew Cary are cool.
The older Hefner gets, the more foolish he looks. Even Hef’s daughter saw his lie and has decided that to survive, Playboy must be about its real business: producing pornography.
