Apartment Fire Kills Woman, Injures Man

A fire in an apartment early Sunday morning left a 69-year-old woman dead and a 74-year-old man in the hospital, county fire officials said.
It took about an hour to knock down the blaze in the 2300 block of Hacienda Boulevard, which was reported about 3 a.m., county fire dispatchers said.
The woman was transported to a hospital where she was pronounced dead, dispatchers said. Their identities were not released.
The structure suffered about $250,000 in damage, officials said.
