Molestation Case Hearing Delayed
Arraignment for an Orange County Superior Court judge accused of molesting a young boy a quarter-century ago was postponed Thursday, authorities said.
Ronald C. Kline appeared in a Norwalk courtroom as Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Daniel Pratt rescheduled the hearing for March 8. That session will be three days after the vote in an unusual primary election for Kline’s judicial seat. The judge remains a candidate, despite the criminal charges. He is opposed by eight write-in candidates.
Kline, 61, has pleaded not guilty to separate federal charges of possessing child pornography on his home computer. He remains under house arrest pending the outcome of the federal case.
