Man Found Shot to Death in Apartment

A Van Nuys man was found shot to death inside his apartment Monday night, police said.
Jesse Isidro Alvarado, 23, was found dead by his ex-girlfriend, who came to the apartment in the 6200 block of Hazeltine Avenue in Van Nuys to pick up their 2-year-old son about 10:30 p.m., Los Angeles Police Det. Al Aldaz said.
Alvarado had gunshot wounds to his upper body. The child was unharmed, Aldaz said.
