Authorities Seek Man Suspected in 3 Robberies
Authorities are looking for a man they believe responsible for three robberies in Thousand Oaks on Thursday afternoon, as well as robberies elsewhere in Southern California.
Sheriff’s investigators said the man, described as about 6 feet 1, began Thursday’s robberies at the Rite Aid drugstore on East Thousand Oaks Boulevard about 2:45 p.m., when he flashed a gun and demanded money. They believe he then robbed nearby Bristol Farms about 3:15 p.m. and Bed, Bath & Beyond, also on East Thousand Oaks Boulevard, 15 minutes later.
Officers searched the area with dogs and a helicopter.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department at 654-2311.
