vs. No. 1 Kansas

Noon, Channel 2

Site--Pauley Pavilion.

Radio--KXTA (1150), KPLS (830).

Records--No. 11 UCLA 11-3, Kansas 13-1.

Update--The Bruins came out of the rough-and-tumble game against USC on Thursday without significant injury, although forward Matt Barnes has a slight ankle sprain. UCLA needs to improve its rebounding. The Trojans held a 46-33 advantage on the boards, including 24 on the offensive end. Only center Dan Gadzuric, who had a season-high 16, rebounded well for the Bruins. Kansas is another physical opponent. Although the Jayhawks lack a true center, forwards Drew Gooden and Nick Collison are tough on the low post and give the Jayhawks the edge with their well-rounded games. Guards Jeff Boschee and Kirk Hinrich are experienced and freshman guard Aaron Miles is a playmaker. Coach Roy Williams is 3-1 against UCLA.
