Family Sues Disney Over Girl’s Accident at Park
The family of a 7-year-old girl who lost two-thirds of her index finger while playing with a toy rifle at Disneyland has sued the Walt Disney Co.
The lawsuit says that Priscilla Figueroa of North Hollywood snagged her finger on the trigger of a fake frontier rifle on Tom Sawyer’s Island. The accident occurred Jan. 21, 2001, as she fell from the rifle’s mount.
