Blasberg Captures Rolex Title

Erica Blasberg of Corona shot her second consecutive round of three-under-par 69 to ensure a victory Friday in the AJGA Rolex Tournament of Champions at The Desert Mountain Club in Scottsdale, Ariz.

She finished at five-under 283 in the 72-hole event to remain three strokes ahead of Brittany Lincicome of Seminole, Fla., who also shot a 69. Jane Park of Beaumont had the low round of the day at 68 to move into third at 290. Irene Cho of La Habra and Alice Kim of Los Angeles tied for 13th at 302.

Taylor Wood of Laguna Niguel tied for second in the boys’ event with Chris Kirk of Woodstock, Ga., at eight-under 280. Randy Lowry of Spring, Texas, won at 12-under-par 276. All three shot one-under 71 in the final round. Daniel Im of La Mirada and Matthew Shin of Cerritos finished in a tie for 13th at 291.
