Trucker Reports Losing 2 Small Explosives

The Sheriff’s Department issued a warning Saturday about two small, copper-colored, cone-shaped explosives that fell off a transport truck somewhere between Bakersfield and Montebello. The commercially manufactured explosives, which are about 2 inches in diameter and 2 inches tall, are among eight explosives reported missing by the truck driver about 10 a.m. Saturday. Six were recovered.
