Two Sewage Spills Trigger Beach Closures
About 600 gallons of sewage spilled into the ocean Monday, causing two beach closures.
The Orange County Health Care Agency prohibited swimming, surfing and diving at Cameo Shores Cove after a 100-gallon spill. Also, the shoreline 1,000 feet north and south of Balboa Pier was closed after a 500-gallon spill from a private property.
