Dogs That Killed Boy Belong to Ex-Officer
From Times Wire Reports
Tehama County Dist. Atty. Gregg Cohen said he hasn’t decided whether to bring criminal charges against a man whose dogs allegedly killed a 6-year-old boy. Genoe Novak bled to death after he was attacked by dogs while playing in the backyard of a neighbor’s rural home Feb. 7.
Authorities said the dogs, including a Rottweiler and two smaller Rottweiler-pug mixes, had escaped from the nearby yard of former Red Bluff Police Officer Charles Schneider, 52.
