Body Found Inside Car Is Identified
The body of a male discovered in the trunk of an abandoned car in a San Fernando market parking lot has been identified as that of a 51-year-old Los Angeles man.
John Ramsey was found inside the car Wednesday morning in the Food 4 Less parking lot in the 2000 block of Glenoaks Boulevard, said Sgt. Paul Patterson of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
A market employee, complaining about a strange odor, called the San Fernando Police Department about 7:30 a.m. to report the abandoned vehicle, he said.
Investigators do not know how long Ramsey was in the car or how he died, Patterson said.
