Bond Fund Boondoggle
Re “Foes Seek Bond Funds to Buy Ahmanson Land,” Nov. 10: How much longer are we going to tolerate the underhanded work of the politicians? Now they are going to use the state water bond money we approved to purchase the Ahmanson Ranch. The developer was going to give us 10,000 acres of the 13,000 total acres, but the wealthy want all of the 13,000 acres. The wealthy in the Thousand Oaks/Calabasas area do not want affordable housing in their area. And we know why!
