From Associated Press

T.A. McLendon rushed for 114 yards and a touchdown and North Carolina State’s defense held No. 14 Florida State to 177 total yards for a 17-7 victory Saturday at Raleigh, N.C.

The Wolfpack, 10-3 overall and 5-3 in the Atlantic Coast Conference, ended a three-game losing streak and became the first conference team to defeat the Seminoles two years in a row.

Florida State (8-4, 7-1) can do no worse than tie Maryland for the ACC crown. The Terrapins would have to win their final two games and finish at least five spots higher than the Seminoles in the final bowl championship series standings to gain the conference’s BCS bid.
