Landlord Suspected in Shooting Death Arrested
A 52-year-old landlord who authorities suspect shot and killed his tenant was arrested Friday when he tried to cross back into the U.S. from Mexico.
Henry Lau was detained by U.S. customs officials Friday. Alhambra police detectives took custody of Lau at the Imperial County sheriff’s detention facility and took him to the Alhambra Police Department to be booked.
He is being held in lieu of $1 million bail.
Being Shing Yao Go, 45, was found dead about 11:30 p.m. Sept. 27, and police sought Lau for questioning. Lau’s car was later found in Los Angeles.
