Once, children had piano lessons and ballet class. Now there’s Fairy School. The eight-week sessions led by “Fairy Glimmer” (a.k.a. Sheryl Cancellieri) at Creative Space in the Larchmont area teach 4- to-7-year-olds the finer points of pixiedom, including wand and wing making. Lesson one: “We don’t want to be annoying fairies. We want to be victorious fairies.” We stopped in for a little impish fun.

Lizard tails, and they eat cats’ eyes, and they also eat leaves.

Boys have leaves in their hair and girls have flowers.

How do you know if someone is a fairy?

They’re small.
