Court Rejects Appeal of Teen Who Killed Parents

A teenager convicted of killing his parents and two fellow Springfield high school students in 1998 has lost an appeal of his 111-year prison sentence.
A state appeals court in Salem rejected a defense argument that Kipland P. Kinkel has an excellent chance of being reformed and should be allowed to return to society when he is no longer a threat.
