Girl, 14, Raped While Walking to School

A teenage girl was kidnapped and sexually assaulted while walking to school early Friday, police said.
The girl, 14, was walking in the 9000 block of Willis Avenue at 6:30 a.m. when a man pretending to have a handgun forced her into a white two-door Honda. He drove her to an alley near Nordhoff Street and Kester Avenue in Panorama City where he raped her, then allowed her to walk away, police said.
The name of the girl and the extent of her injuries were not released. The man was described as 20 to 23 years old.
