A gunman wearing a black mask robbed a Montalvo liquor store of an undetermined amount of cash, according to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department.
The robber, described as white, 5 foot 6 and 160 pounds, entered Log Cabin Liquor in the 2400 block of Alameda Avenue about 8:10 p.m. Wednesday and pointed a revolver at a cashier and a customer, authorities said.
The robber demanded that cash be placed in a brown paper bag. He then fled north on Alameda Avenue and was seen getting into a four-door vehicle near Alameda Avenue and Seahawk Street, authorities said.
Neither the cashier nor the customer were reported injured.
