Killeen Adds to His Duties

Share

Ryan Killeen was recruited by USC to boot kickoffs into the end zone, a job the sophomore transfer from Mt. San Antonio College is performing well through two games.

On Tuesday, in the aftermath of kicker David Davis’ troubles during a 40-3 victory last Saturday at Colorado, Killeen practiced with the field-goal unit.

Davis, a senior, missed an extra-point attempt and had a field-goal and extra-point attempt blocked against the Buffaloes.

“He deserves a chance to compete for the job,” USC Coach Pete Carroll said of Killeen.
