Vikings Won’t Trade McKinnie
The owner of the Minnesota Vikings says he will not trade first-round draft pick Bryant McKinnie, who has held out for eight weeks.
“We drafted him with the seventh pick of the draft and we expect him to be the Vikings’ left tackle for the next decade,” owner Red McCombs said in a statement.

Carolina Panther kicker John Kasay was placed on injured reserve following surgery to repair a hernia Saturday and was replaced by Jon Hilbert.
Kasay is expected to be sidelined six to eight weeks.
