Driver Dies in Angeles Forest Crash
From a Times Staff Writer
A motorist died Monday afternoon when a vehicle plunged over the side of a road in Angeles National Forest, sparking a small brush fire that crews quickly controlled, authorities said.
The single-vehicle crash at Big Tujunga Canyon and Doske roads was reported at 4:45 p.m. The resulting half-acre blaze was largely doused within 20 minutes.
The name of the driver, who was burned beyond recognition, was not immediately available, authorities said.
