‘Smart’ Gas Pumps
It occurred to me that what we need are “smart” gas pumps. They would charge people like me--I drive a 1986 VW Jetta--$1.49 a gallon, while folks in those cumbersome SUVs will pay $2.99 a gallon and Hummers will be charged $3.99 a gallon. People who keep dinosaurs for pets must realize that they are expensive to feed and maintain.
