A doctor has been charged with sexually exploiting three female patients in his Encino office, and police said Friday they believe there are other victims who have not come forward.

Dr. Parviz Nasseri, 67, of Beverly Hills fondled the women and made suggestive comments during medical examinations, said Los Angeles Police Det. Ninette Toosbuy.

Defense attorney Lawrence S. Strauss denied the allegations and called the felony case “a malicious, trumped-up scenario.”

“Dr. Nasseri is absolutely not guilty of any improprieties with any patient,” he said.

Nasseri operates a general practice at Encino Health Wellness Clinic and has also practiced at Central Health Clinic Inc. in Compton.

Toosbuy said police are aggressively pursuing the case because patients must be able to get medical care without fear that a physician will take advantage of them.

“Anytime a person in a position of trust violates that trust, that makes it important to prosecute,” she said.

Nasseri was arrested April 10 and released on $60,000 bond. Arraignment is scheduled for May 15.

Toosbuy asked anyone with additional information on the case to call the LAPD’s West Valley Station detective bureau at (818) 756-9141.
