Anti-Americanism no worry in Spain

Now is the time to travel.
My wife and I just came back from a trip to Spain. The airports were fast and efficient. It may have been because of low volume, but there were no long lines or waits.
Most every building we saw in Spain had a homemade sign hanging from it protesting the Iraqi war. All the people we came in contact with knew we were Americans; when we were asked, we told them we were from California.
They were, almost to a person, warm, helpful and generous to us. A priest in a small town opened up the church for us so we could see it. In two restaurants we were given free generous samples of food. The staff at a maritime museum in Tarragona let us use the restroom without paying admission and then took the time to recommend a hotel in the town.
