Junior Spivey went three for five with his first home run of the season and the Arizona Diamondbacks won three games in a row for the first time this season by beating the Florida Marlins, 7-1, Monday night at Phoenix.

Spivey, batting .182 with three runs batted in going into the game, drove in two with a first-inning homer off Justin Wayne (0-1) and scored twice.

“In the past I’ve been out there definitely pressing,” Spivey said. “It felt good to hit the ball hard.”
