Don Nelson reached two career milestones Monday night, though the Dallas Maverick coach wasn’t interested in discussing them.

Antoine Walker scored 27 points, and Steve Nash had 23 points and 11 assists to help Nelson move into sole possession of second place on the all-time victory list with the Mavericks’ 111-94 win over the Toronto Raptors at Dallas.

“I’m glad it’s over and we can quit talking about it,” Nelson said.

Nelson, also involved in his 3,000th NBA game as a coach or player, has 1,111 coaching victories -- one more than Pat Riley. Former Raptor coach Lenny Wilkens is the leader with 1,268 victories.

Indiana 95, Cleveland 85 -- Jermaine O’Neal had 24 points, 10 rebounds and six assists at Indianapolis to help the Pacers hand LeBron James and the Cavaliers their 34th consecutive road loss, the second-longest streak of its kind in NBA history. James had 27 points, six assists, three steals and three blocked shots.

Minnesota 116, Boston 95 -- Sam Cassell had 27 points and nine assists, and Kevin Garnett added 27 points and 12 rebounds as the Timberwolves used a 14-5 third-quarter run to earn their fifth straight road victory and end the Celtics’ five-game winning streak.

Paul Pierce finished with 15 points, 11 assists and nine rebounds for Boston, which also announced that center Raef LaFrentz is expected to sit out the rest of the season after knee surgery.

San Antonio 78, Memphis 67 -- Tim Duncan had 21 points and 13 rebounds, and the Spurs won their seventh in a row while holding the Grizzlies scoreless over the final 6:02 at San Antonio.
