No Armed Man Found in Police Search of Store

Los Angeles police officers, including SWAT members, who searched a store in South Los Angeles on Christmas Eve after reports that a man had entered with a gun, found no armed man, authorities said Thursday.
Officers searched the Kmart store in the 5800 block of Vermont Avenue for several hours, police said. The incident took place about 6:30 p.m.
