Police Look for Man in 2 Attempted Abductions
Police searched Wednesday for a man who attempted to abduct two 12-year-old girls in separate incidents Monday.
Officers described the assailant as white or Latino with a goatee, 25 to 30 years old, 5 foot 6 to 6 feet tall, 160 to 170 pounds, with a tattoo on his right bicep and a possible eyebrow piercing.
He was believed to have been driving a new vehicle, possibly a Mercedes-Benz convertible.
The first incident occurred about 3 p.m. near Atlantic Avenue and Hill Street.
The second incident took place 30 minutes later in the 2400 block of Atlantic.
